This policy explains what information OCTAUP collects through octaup.com, why we collect it and how you can control it. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

Who we are

OCTAUP is a creative agency based in Islamabad, Pakistan. For anything about your data, email [email protected].

What we collect

When you send the contact form, we collect only what you type in:

• your name
• your email address
• your company (optional)
• the service you are interested in and your budget range
• your message

If you use the chat on our website, we receive the messages you send and any details you choose to share, such as your name, email or WhatsApp number. If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, name and messages.

We do not ask for more than we need, and we do not store your IP address with your enquiry. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site secure and working.

Why we collect it

We use your details (from the form, chat or WhatsApp) only to reply to your enquiry, discuss your project and, if you ask for one, send you a proposal. We do not add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and chat conversations are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact and are then deleted automatically. If you become a client, we keep project and invoice records for as long as we need them for the project and for our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your data

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with the service providers that help us run the website and email, and only as needed:

• Hostinger hosts the website and our business email.
• Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and hosts some website code.
• Tidio runs the chat on our website, including its AI assistant, which answers common questions. Chat messages are stored by Tidio so our team can read and reply to them.
• WhatsApp (Meta) handles messages you send us on WhatsApp, under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts provides the fonts on this site. Your browser connects to Google to load them.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. If we add analytics in the future, it will only load after you agree on a cookie banner, and we will update this policy first.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what information we hold about you
• correct it
• delete it
• stop using it

Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. Deleting your data is free.

How we protect it

The website uses HTTPS encryption, a firewall, spam protection and restricted admin access. Enquiries can only be seen by the OCTAUP team.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
